Hello my friend,

This post is meant to empower you and bring you hope.  

I heard a story that I am going to share with you about a couple of boys.  

 It was winter time and these two boys ventured out on a pond that was frozen.  As they were out on this pond, one of the boys walked on some thin ice and fell through.  The other boy tried frantically to save him and when his friend got sucked under the ice he ran and got a tree branch, found where his friend was under the ice and beat and beat and beat the ice with the branch until he broke through the ice and was able to get his friend pulled out to safety.

When others arrived there and saw what the boy had done, they couldn’t believe it.  They said to each other how could it be possible.  How could this small boy carry that big tree branch and how could he break through that ice, it is so thick.  They couldn’t see how it was possible. 

A man was standing there and heard what they were saying and he said,

“I will tell you how it was possible, the boy didn’t have anyone here telling him that it wasn’t possible.” 

When I heard this story, I thought of my sister, Sue.  When she was pretty young, maybe around twenty she was living in Houston, Texas.  She went to the store and when she was walking a man grabbed her and pulled her behind the building and was going to attack her.  She was on the ground and she yelled, “Look, Police!” , her attacker turned to look and she pulled her knees back and kicked him with both of her feet, knocked him down and got up and ran for her life.  She never looked back and she was so scared and running so fast that she jumped over, not one, not two, but over three cars.

Now you may be reading this, thinking, no way, that is not possible, just like the people could not see how it was possible for the boy to take a heavy tree branch and break through the thick ice.

I was not there to see it, but there is no doubt in my mind that it happened.  Sue had some seemingly impossible things happen in her life and maybe I will end up sharing more at some point but my point now is…….”It Is Possible”

What am I trying to tell you?  I am telling you that you are stronger than you think and you are a survivor!    It is possible! 

So believe in yourself, believe in God and believe, It’s Possible!
